Reducing mental health stigma in the workplace can provide a sense of belonging for employees, which allows them to be more engaged in their work, feel more loyalty to their organization, and remain at their job. Employees who felt supported by their employer with their mental health were 2.5 times more likely to intend to stay at their company for more than two years and 5.6 times more likely to trust their company and its leaders.

Dr. Jessica Jackson is a licensed psychologist and global clinical DEIB manager for Modern Health. She combines her extensive experience in clinical practice with a deep interest in mental health advocacy. Passionate about clinical practice and research focused on healing racial trauma and mental health equity, she delivers culturally centered evidence-based treatments to adult clients. Prior to joining the Clinical team at Modern Health, she was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine. Jessica earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from New Mexico State University and completed an APA accredited internship at UCLA Counseling & Psychological Services and an APA accredited postdoctoral fellowship in substance use disorders and primary care mental health integration at the Los Angeles VA.

Dr. Tiffany Chang (she/her) is a licensed psychologist and DEIB Care Lead for Modern Health. Tiffany earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Indiana University where her research and clinical experience focused on the intersection of race, gender, and mental health and working with international students. She completed an APA accredited internship at UC Irvine Counseling Center and an APA accredited postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA Counseling & Psychological Services. Prior to joining Modern Health, she worked in healthcare, university counseling centers, private practice, and community mental health.
