Lindy Gilkey
Lindy Gilkey is a seasoned leader with more than 15 years of experience spanning the health and benefits ecosystem, including roles in employer organizations, consulting firms, healthcare delivery, strategic partnerships, and consultant relations. She holds a degree in Health Promotion from Otterbein University and has dedicated her career to helping organizations design benefits programs that enable both individuals and businesses to thrive.


With a deep commitment to advancing mental health, Lindy is focused on expanding access to care, reducing stigma, and fostering inclusive, supportive environments that empower people to bring their best selves to work and life. In her current role as Head of Partnerships at Modern Health, she leads strategic consultant relationships to deliver thoughtful, impactful solutions that improve outcomes for employers and their employees.
Betsy Nota-Kirby
Betsy Nota-Kirby
Betsy Nota-Kirby is responsible for leading a team of Marsh McLennan Agency’s (MMA) health management consultants to design and execute a nationally integrated, comprehensive well-being strategy for middle market clients. She creates and evaluates well-being solutions as well as evaluation of worksite health clinics. Betsy manages MMA’s national Vendor Innovation Council and co-leads development of population health program evaluations and designs cohort analysis. Betsy joined MMA in 2018 and is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Betsy is an accomplished population health consultant. She has extensive experience leading strategy, product development, design, implementation and operations of health and wellness products including clinical vendor assessment and worksite clinic consulting. Betsy holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Eastern Michigan University as well as a master’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is an ACSM® certified exercise specialist as well as a Wellcoaches® certified health and wellness coach.

Betsy has been in the medical management and insurance industry for over 30 years. She was previously the Director of Medical Management Operations for Centene, Inc. She also previously ran her own health care consulting company and held advanced roles with Humana, Aetna, and the University of Michigan Health System.

Betsy is a former member of the American Worksite Health Promotion (AWHP), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
Dr. Louise Short
Dr. Louise Short
Dr. Short is the National Clinical Leader for Brown & Brown, LLC, and leads the Population Health practice as well as the Health Innovation Hub. She has a focus on making the healthcare system work better and has relationships with as well as in-depth knowledge of many of the innovative health companies in the marketplace that are trying to solve key issues facing employers and workers. She is also a member of the National Business Group on Health (NBGH) Cost & Delivery Institute.

Dr. Short has a background in internal medicine, occupational and preventive medicine, and 25 years of experience providing clinical leadership in designing, implementing, and measuring population health programs and strategies. As a consultant, she has worked with many large and jumbo employers including Lowe’s, Bank of New York Mellon, Dollar General, and PepsiCo to help improve population health and medical costs.

Before consulting Dr. Short worked for Anthem, UnitedHealthcare, Healthways (now Sharecare), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as being in clinical practice. Her expertise also includes analytics, epidemiology, managed care plan administration and medical management, clinical and behavioral health strategy and program management, and outcomes measurement strategy and execution.

Dr. Short has helped lead the COVID-19 response for Brown & Brown teammates and develop approaches to assist our clients and other employers with issues, policies, and strategies related to COVID-19 and safe Return to the Workplace.
Dr. Dave Zieg
Dr. Dave Zieg, Director of Clinical Services at Alliant, is a nationally recognized physician executive and health care strategist. Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine, Dave brings more than 21 years of progressive clinical, corporate, and entrepreneurial leadership experience to his role—shaping innovative health solutions that bridge medical excellence with business strategy.

Prior to joining Alliant, Dave served as Chief Medical Officer at Transcarent, where he led clinical strategy, operations, and team development in one of the most ambitious virtual care and navigation platforms in the market. Before that, he was a Partner and Clinical Services Leader at Mercer, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and consultants. There, he advised Fortune 500 and mid-sized employers across industries, with a focus on value-based care models, quality-driven utilization, and effective benefits strategy.

Dave’s earlier experience includes a decade at Lockheed Martin Corporation, where he helped drive health care innovation at scale, and leadership roles in academic medicine and hospital systems in the Denver area. His expertise spans primary care transformation, bundled payment models, direct contracting, leveraging quality/cost metrics in plan design, employer-sponsored health clinics, occupational and behavioral health, and scalable lifestyle medicine programs.

Dave received his M.D. from Creighton University and undergraduate degrees from California State University, Fullerton. With a deep commitment to aligning clinical quality and cost-effectiveness, he continues to guide employers, health systems, and technology companies toward the next generation of health care and benefits design.
