Dr. Myra Altman is a licensed clinical psychologist and the VP of Clinical Strategy & Research at Modern Health.

Myra received her PhD in clinical psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, where her research focused on the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity. This sparked an interest in the structural factors that influence personal health and well-being, including how the workplace can promote or hinder health. She has spent a decade providing evidence-based care for anxiety, depression, and health psychology and is passionate about how to ensure these approaches are scaled across populations. Myra completed a fellowship in value-based healthcare at Stanford’s Clinical Excellence Research Center where she focused on understanding how best to improve the quality of care while ensuring sustainable costs. She brings all of these perspectives to Modern Health, where her team oversees the quality of the coaching and therapy network, digital content and tools, as well as research and outcomes.

Myra grew up in South Africa, went to cooking school before college, remains passionate about food, and is an aspirational runner and gardener.
Maureen Calabrese is responsible for leading Modern Health’s people function with the primary mission to work across the organization to cultivate and care for the culture and systems that enable every member of the Modsquad to do important work well.

Prior to Modern Health, Maureen was the Chief People Officer at Sprout where she helped grow the team from 200 people to 1,000 team members and was a member of the executive team leading Sprout’s 2019 IPO. She also served as Chief People Officer at Cision and part of the executive leadership team charged with reinventing the 80-year organization - first by transitioning from an operationally driven media monitoring company to a SaaS organization and then by bringing together six organizations (and cultures!) over a two year period to create a powerhouse in the PR software space.

Other roles include a stint in marketing for General Mills (claim to fame: part of the team who introduced GoGurt to the world), Nielsen, and Ipsos.

She holds a BSBA from the University of Denver and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. When not at work, Maureen is a hockey mom who spends her time traveling with her husband and 3 children between ice rinks.
