Karen Ancira is Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer for Mattel. She joined Mattel in 2024. In her role, Ms. Ancira is responsible for driving cultural transformation at Mattel, working with the leadership team to champion Mattel’s mission and values and to ensure optimal collaboration across the global organization. As Chief People Officer, Ms. Ancira oversees all global human resources functions including compensation and benefits, DE&I, employee culture and engagement, leadership development, organizational design and development, and talent management.

Tasja Kirkwood is the VP of Global Consumer Insights for Mattel. She brings strategy driven perspective to the landscape of consumers, play, and the toy industry, with a goal of ‘insights to action,’ grounded in deep and holistic expertise around children and families. She also leads a team that designs, coordinates, and executes consumer based research projects for all owned and licensed brands globally, and focuses on connecting the dots to generate holistic and actionable insights that are grounded in consumer based knowledge.
